Miss you Egypt, Back In Canada

I'll be posting some pictures soon.... although I really didn't take that many pictures and I should of. I'm pretty sure I was busy taking care of Khaled or just enjoying sitting. We had a really nice time with everyone! I miss you all and I know Khaled does too, because he was so playful and happy. I have a cold that I must have gotten on the planes. Khaled is taking a nap and I'm going to lay down a little. I can't express enough how nice our time was, we can't let so much time pass before going again. Thanks to everyone. Love you Gedou, Téta, tante Eman, and new uncle Mohamed :)

A Kiss

Khaled is giving and wanting more and more kisses, he asks for them by saying, Mama mmmmmmmmm (I think because I make that sound before I kiss him :)

Next Week, Egypt, Cairo, Family!

I put Khaled on the potty (toilette), well.... he tries to get it right :P I have fun with this little guy. He is full of energy!! Sometimes it's too much, but most times he is very cute and happy. Yesterday was impossible to be at the store with him, he was tired and wanted to play but just getting impatient all the time with everything.
I was up so early this morning! I'm starting to get so anxious to go to Egypt.
Khaled loves... and I mean loves!!! being outside. His little forehead is looking like just a little red mark and healing well. Not that he cares :) It was actually really warm yesterday here... a little dose of Cairo in June, but much more mild.
It's Saturday, and we will go to the library and after to the market here to buy little gifts. We have to watch our money, but I hope to find nice little things here and there at the stores too. I just can't believe that we are leaving next week. I can't wait. I wish I wouldn't get nervous .. that would be great! I'll try my best, because really I am so Happy. Me, Baba & little Mr. taking a new adventure! Seriously, Gedou, Teta, Eman, all family, I really am waiting to see you all, with Hatem and Khaled. :)

My Little, Big Bed

OH! What happened to Khaled :o    Well Khaled was running with his wooden toy box and fell, simply like that. Poor guy, but I have to say it didn't bleed and only got looking bad the next day. He's fallen and cried more other times but this one left a mark. Baba, do I tell you where watching him... shhhhhh. Well he fell off a kitchen chair the other day when I was watching... and I really should of taken him off, I felt sooo bad .. but no mark. He's still a pretty careful boy. I'm sure more bumps and bruises to come little guy. Anyway .. it's not bothering him that's for sure. He would love to be outside all day this guy!
We got over our cold, it wasn't a bad one but still stuck around a bit and lots of tissue to Khaled's nose. But it didn't seem to bother him at all, tough guy haha. He ate the same and was playful.

Big news is, he is now in a little toddler bed. I converted the crib to a bed. Now we get to lay down and look at books and he really did not like the crib much, feeling trapped poor boy. There is a carpet under the bed sticking out each side and I put a thick blanket folded both sides with a pillow against the wall. He can climb in and out so easily because it is not high. He's feel twice but it is not much a fall both times he didn't even wake up!.. and I go pick him up and put him back in bed. It is much nicer to have a bed.

 Oh ... May went to the vet... and I weighed Khaled on the floor scale haha .. what kinna mom am I. So silly. He came in at 26 and a half pounds all muscle haha!

Mama's Day

Happy Mother's Day... Mothers
We had a nice relaxing morning at home and then went to see my parents. After we went to the mosque and had a yummy meal, Khaled ate all my plate, no kidding! Most of all I was so happy because Khaled was having so much fun playing with all the kids there outside and everywhere! Even in an RV (some of the kids even went on top of the RV ... yes believe me .. but don't tell the parents haha) We all then took a nice walk all the way down to the river near by, kids and adults. The kids Baba did a call to prayer outside with his son next to him with no one around much. I love Khaled's eyes when he hears this, I find he likes it, and I, myself, thought it was so nice. I was having tea outside and felt very lucky to be having this day. Khaled fell asleep right away in the car, it was 7 pm by that time and there was so much playing in his day. I just want to say to Khaled I love him so much! Without him I wouldn't have Mother's Day haha. Oh Baba bought me a little iron plane and some goodies to eat, from him and Khaled of course. So cute both of you.

A Boot

I was so surprised to see Khaled was walking around with a boot that he put all by himself and zipped up (winter boot). This boy really knows what he wants... he wanted to go outside!

Khaled's Keys

Khaled was turning in circles and pretty sure he noticed that doing that made him dizzy. So he did it a couple more times and then would stand and laugh. He was acting so cute last night giving me nice kisses. He takes his hands and puts them on my face, comes close for a kiss. Last night his nose was running, he has a little cold, and it bothered him to sleep. Today he is taking a long nap right now after going for a nice walk with May and I. He was acting and very nice and just a little runny nose. At the grocery store today he was pushing the cart, reaching up to this place with a bar just right for him. Here he is very serious about learning to use a key.
