One Too Many Pictures

I'm going to rename the blog one too many pictures.. because it is so hard to simply not put all the ones I do get on here.
The little guy is sleeping and I'm not sure I want to be writing and sorting through pics and all this... but it does get done with a smile
Well, I'm going to figure out the format and where to change it so it displays my pictures and writing like before... just not now :)

Look at his eye lashes!

It's May.. it's Baba!......It's also snow out there.

Just a
little messy.

The Robot is nice.. just don't turn it on... it is knna scary and loud....But so is May hihihi and she has no off button.

Khaled is starting to want to climb things to get to better things... or just wherever he has in mind :)

Yeah you!

Khaled are you tired?

Someone looks like his Baba.

He likes to have a snack in both hands. And if he is sitting down to eat he really likes to try to use the spoon and fork.

There's Mama and her boy. She gets into the pictures now and again haha.

The best of all my guy in action.

Eid Saeed !

Khaled, chewing on his fingers when his gums hurt. The robot was a gift, it rolls around and does stuff with music, but Khaled was scared of it for now haha (it's a little loud but so is May and he loves her). Dina the mother of the little girl Dana gave it to us, so thoughtful.

Dr. Loubanie gave toys to the boys and girls, look at that picture of Khaled with the toy train :)

Happy Eid everyone.
We went to the mosque this morning, so many kids! About 25 I would say. And lots of people. I didn't take a lot of pictures because I was shy haha, and didn't want to annoy people. There was food toys and money, to the kids, exchanged. Well, of course prayers too. Speaking of that, if I'm not wrong my grandpa died on this date, so many good thoughts about him. I love him still of course, and lately I met 2 kids at the library that there names are Nicholas. I proudly tell them, that was my grandpa's name. One is named after his grandpa. On the 18th would be my grandpa and grandma's wedding anniversary. They tought me lots of good things about marriage.
Let's see what see do I want to say... since the little guy is having a nap. I'm finding a side of myself that is making friends with some kids and quite enjoying my talks with them. I think I might like talking to them more than some adults, in fact I am sure. I always feel like they think I'm a kid too, but I guess I look so old to them, haha.

The picture up there is
Hatem talking to a man from Alexandria, Egypt! Yaay someone from Egypt at the mosque.

Khaled was tired after our outing.

I hope her mom doesn't mind, this is Dana at the mosque she is a princess :) Thanks for the picture, I didn't have a picture of a princess.

Before leaving this morning.

Birthday present from my Papa, a winter suit to keep Khaled nice and warm.

Khaled chasing Joaquim and souding like a monkey!

Can I say my sweet little boy is acting like a puppy?

Bonne Fête Khaled!!! Mon amour!

I wrapped our dinning room art and made this.

Well hello birthday boy!
This was his first bubble bath. I thought I was doing something real fun on his birthday.... he got so scared of the frothy bubbles!.. I felt kinna bad. We drained some out and kept some and he got used to it and liked it. Yay!
This is Khaled exactly 1 year old.... November 14, 7:28 pm

He was so happy because we were clapping.

Yaaaay!
At my parents.
The best Ballon .. at least for a 1 year old. Bought by my Papa.

Khaled loves his ballon.
Looking good Baba :)

Our meal at the restaurant on Saturday. He was not happy at his party hat!

In fact... he hated it.

Wow!... at what I don't know.

Here we are. The best toys are ribbon, string and anything a kitten would play with... a box maybe.
Too much cake!
But it was tasty.
And made with rice flour, arrowroot flour, maple syrup, apricot puree. banana....

Almond butter and almond milk and cocoa for frosting...

Good stuff to stuff the mouth.

Hmmmm what's this?
Mama and Baba, Khaled may we help with the candles?

Let's light them.

Have a taste of the frosting.

We bought this guitar, It's so hard to find something small with strings and not all plastic. So I was so happy but as soon as we open the package... well made out of wood is good but covered in toxic smelling coating is not good... so it will go back to the store.

The gift paper on the other hand is great!!!!

Look how happy he is.

Hi! Ok my BIG mistake... I forgot to take pictures of the entire group!!!????
There was my aunt Sue (who you see here) my aunt and uncle Claire and Louis and cousin Jaques and my Dad.

Thanks Baba for helping me while I decorate and put stuff out to eat for our gathering. You always help me so much and make nice time for us.

BABA!

Ok, So the cake looks a little messy, but it was good! And I tried to make it as baby friendly as I could, but still a cake.

Ah, that's the life!
The Birthday Room

Enjoy! We LOVE you!!!!
