In my mind I would like to dream up a scene of Khaled playing and myself watching him but maybe doing something on the lap top. It's not quite like that.
First let me note all the great things going on.
Khaled now lifts himself up, on the coffee table, in the crib, anywhere. He even climbs up a step by himself in his knees. He walks very well if I hold his hands and moves from standing to sitting. He gets up with his hands on the coffee table and walks sideways to where he wants to get, even goes from the coffee table to turning around and holding himself on the foot stool that is the same hight if it's close by. He's really determined! He has something in mind, it doesn't always happens like he would want and he gets frustrated at times, he wants to do everything. He gets moody and cries, in a way of, why can't I do this!?
If I get out the camera, he wants the camera. If I am on the lap top he really, really, wants to see and then hit the keys non stop. So, away goes the lap top. Bye bye lap top not now. Which is what I meant by the opening statement, of why I don't post as much.
Today we bought him this little necklace that they say is good for teething, he looks like a ool surfer dude now. They say it's the wood from the hazlenut tree that nutralizes the acidity or something like that. I told the woman who sold it to me that I wasn't so sure about it, but that if it doesn't work he will have a cute little necklace of bead and wood.
Mostly he just gives a hard time for sleeping, and mostly I think its because he wants to do so much... but not sleep. I think it's his gums bothering him also, but it's this new amazing upright and standing life that has him fascinated much more.
So your baby finally stops giving himself big scratches on his face, but now he's falling and hitting himself and slipping everywhere. Maybe he would like to plunge off the changing table too, I'm not sure what he's thinking.
But one thing is for sure! There is a lot of thinking going on in that mind, you can see it! It's scary a little, mostly because I don't want him getting hurt with these little ideas, but I'm so proud of my boy!
Ok, It's late and I'm too lazy to upload pictures now... but soon. Maybe next time it's quiet, as for now, the night is mine, as long as I don't go look at the kitchen....and maybe the laundry.
