Joyeux Noel!

These where all taken a little while back, maybe a week. Khaled is more and more standing and sometimes he takes a step and yesturday even almost 2. He's walking a lot more with the cart and little walker toys all by himself. We just had a very nice time with Uncle Marc, Aunt Sunita and my Mom and Dad these past days.

Believe me he is a happy boy, but some of these videos have some funny little moments of unhappiness. The wonderful thing about babies is it all can last one second and change.

Happy Birthday Pa! Loodi, for you to know your grandpa has his birthday on the same birthday as my grandma had it, Mimi, your grandma's Mama. So there is the history you can think of her on this day too.

We've been having accidents... little bruise on cheek... We were scared when he bit his tongue when he fell on the coffee table. Poor little guy, but he's more than ok. Happy and playful until way too late at night!

Feet Flat On The Ground

I'm going to do a quick news update about Khaled. It's just a little past 12 am, Khaled just went to bed (Khaled that is late!). So yes I am tired but I want to share all the good stuff.
The mister now takes one step, sometimes it end up that he's on his knees on the ground but sometimes it's good enough to make it to the next station to hold on to. More and more he is just standing there nicely with his feet flat on the ground. Another tooth showed up on the bottom so that's four on top and three on the bottom.

 

 

Who's That Baby In The Window?

What can I say ... this is my boy. And after a long song of mamammamamamm mamam mmamam. Well, he stated to poop (I stop recording, come on mama?)You can tell sometimes he wants his Mama, and then if Baba needs to work and I'm walking away with him, it can be calmly or a real outcry of WHY! One thing is for sure the bond with Mama and Baba is strong

Jiddan, Jiddan!

Last night while I was putting stuff in Khaled's closet he decided to open the sock drawer and take all the sock and move them to a different drawer, the next one on top Two socks where meant to be on the floor he would put them in the rawer than decide, no, they belong on the ground, and do that about 5 times.

He's coming up with more and more games for himself, thoughtful kind of games.

He also is starting to put puzzle shapes back in there space, but I am saying starting, it's not so skilled just yet of course. I'm sure there's other things to report and I'm not thinking of them right now. 

One thing I am thinking of is how he really knows what he wants... and well f he doesn't get it, sometimes we are sure to see him kick and scream and cry, but he's a good boy nothing that last too long. He will also take his arm and swing and push at anything he doesn't want, sip of water, bottles, food, a kiss and hugs.

He coughs when he hears a cough and lots of Mama and Baba, and he has been trying to say Jiddan, (which means very) since it's in this song that he likes for this show since he's very young. We sing it a lot for him. It's about a dog that gets into a lot of trouble, go figure! He tries to say coucou, from this toy we have that says it, and he would love to make a phone call. :) 

 Cute, eating together ... the empty seat is me temporarily not there haha.
