Things and Words I Forget..

He says go way..(a away) and ga daw (get down) ... what does that say about us.. hahaha.. just that we have 2 dogs. He has a collection of sounds like a kid raised in the jungle or desert maybe .. he makes a sound to say thank you .. that is untypable. Hi.. maman .. baba. Boom when something falls and Oh yeah! hi ya is supposed to be alright, a mama knows that makes sense. He says Ketta (cat), formal arabic hahah .. otta is egyptian Khaled, why you Mr. proper.

Pee Pee In The Potty

I usually ask Khaled to go pee after getting out of the bath ...He sits there so proud.. but this time.. there it was a pee pee!!! Baba was up the steps in no time to hear what all the fuss was about and then we were both celebrating .. Khaled was just a little confused. But I'm sure it all did seem like something nice.
Our word of the day was Dodo.. (sleep or nap in french) He was saying a lot today and knows what it means. He tries to say shagara (tree). He says Un, Deux (one two). bleu ..bule (bubbles). There's a little collection growing .. but more important is I see him trying more and more. There's cou cou, oh wow! oh oh ( as in oh no kinna way.. and he does know when to say it at the right times sometimes haha) Ka is milk or I'm thirsty. ca ca is car. He's not aggressive towards other kids... I like that. But.. may I finish by saying the big news is ... A Pee Pee! hahaha!

Some Stuff I Want to Say

Oh it's been long since I posted something. I've been tired... but a good tired!
We've been doing nice things, going to the falls (Eman, you remember this place.. Khaled isn't in his black box anymore ... car seat hahah.. its much more fun.) There is a family centre close by with a room full of kids and toys and you just set the kids free to roam in there. They have it Monday and Friday, but we usually go on Mondays only. Khaled likes it ... he's quite himself where ever he goes and happy.

Eman I miss you and home your pregnancy is going well. We all need to be better with the contacts, the computer or something was terrible talking on skype last time with Mama and Baba.

Big News.... My mom is going to New York to check is her veins have some blockage... if they do, then they do a fairly uncomplicated operation and then we wait to see if there is some progress with her condition. This will be the 16 17 18 October if I have it right... if it's not so right, I'm only off by a day :) When it was her Birthday I had ... Going to New York.... written on her Bday cake hihihihi.

Big News!!

I'm so HAPPY! Because the big news is that Eman is pregnant!!!!
Khaled is going to have a little cousin! We are going to be aunt and uncle :)
You're going to be a great Mama Eman, and Mohamed you will be a good Baba for sure. Congratulations to you both. More kids for Téta and Geddou to love!
Dina, Hatem's cousin, I think will give birth anytime to a little boy. Dina I'm so excited for you and want pics, promise not to make me wait long. :)
Ok now that the news is out, I have to say that I'm filled with joy and making up stories of us going to Egypt and Khaled having these siblings to play with and talk to. They will all be around the same age enough... but of course Khaled will be the oldest haha. I hope we have the luxury of going often and having nice visits.
Eman if you need any kind of advice, we are there for you. I'm sorry it's far, but we will have to make the best of it. Wow, this is nice!

 He sits on the steps in the morning and waits for Baba to come.

 He's been saying bleu... (in french) his face looks something like this sometimes... He says it, but it's too funny   looks like he thinks something is yucky.

 I love watching the games he plays... wow the imagination!! Look it's green play dough driving.

 I'm a little obsessed watching him play his games, he does things we didn't show him at all. It really is all imagination :)
