Our Boy Khaled is looking great with his new chubby cheeks. I must say we went through a lot of worry and guilt on my part in a short period of time. We're still learning as parents. Khaled was admited to the hospital monday with faillure to thrive and we got out friday. In between those days he gained about 4 onces every day! He amazed everyone I think. The test showed he is perfectly healthy, and just needs to catch up with his weight gain. At this rate we will be fine in no time. Through all this, as I cried a few times, Khaled was so pleasant and loved to smile at anyone. He loved his pediatrician Dr. Ashur soooo much! and we had help from many people, a little overwhelming at times but everyone was very caring and nice. He is now having my milk supplemented with formula. My brother Marc had a good laugh when I sayed, '' well, it seems Khaled was a lazy sucker and I didn't notice''. It's good to have a laugh especially when times are hard. We're home now and everyone is happy, may I add the pets too. What a week! Tomorrow we are lucky enough to have Eman, Hatem's sister stay with us for a while, that's such a gift! Of course you can expect pictures of her visite soon to come.
