This was a little while back, he's talking so nice and always better. I'm trying to think of funny things he says but i'm so tired haha. Let me tell you there is a lot of no. .not like that... I don't like it. Today we were at the store and he was saying every toy he liked. So cute! He walks around the grocery store and follows me nicely and I give him items to take out of the cart to pay. Lately the nights where really difficult, but he had a cold still, tonight he was actually nice and slept fast. 

Ariana

This is from our trip to see Ariana in Halifax. She was so small and precious. I know that will soon be very different at the rate she is growing. Oh my I'll never forget changing her diaper and really, really we made a mess of it. I even forgot that there was buttons on the shirt, let say she gave me an unexpected surprise when the diaper was off. But, come on, I've been through all that before! haha. Soooo long ago hah yeah right.

Ariana!! Welcome Home

I had to put this picture! This is Jana Khaled's other little girl cousin. Oh my  makes my heart ache. She look so round, cuddly and adorably happy. Hi to you also, Mohamed! :) We hope to see you someday not so far. Don't worry Ariana, Jana is older.. so she's a bit bigger ;P

These are Khaled's little cousins. We can't wait to see the new addition. We're going next friday to Halifax!! Ariana we will see you soon. I'm sure Khaled will be so thrilled to see you!! Us too of course.

Happy Birthdays

It was my moms birthday! There was happy birthdays being said, birthday cake and cards and gifts and blowing out candles. Before sleeping tonight he was so proud saying candles.. and then taking a big breath to blow (because of course he helped). There was some watching tv in bed and even lucky enough to catch a curious goerge episode. And yes I need to put batteries in my camera! (I bought some but then forgot the camera.. I admit.) We got an outdoor play/swing set with slide that Hatem, my dad and his cousin put together. So soon enough I will put pictures and videos of that!! It's pretty fancy and cute.. lucky boy. We had friends over the other day and it's really nice to have a place of action in the back yard. A little video till next time ;p

Star of the moment.. Tintin!!

Khaled loves Tintin... age appropriate?no!... but he does love it. He watched the movie, and then got a few comic books at the library (that he brought to the top of the stairs fist thing in the morning after waking to bring down) If you want to see dramatic reenactment of movie scenes with toys, I'm sure he'd be happy to oblige. He says 3-4 word phrases and lots of words. New words include.. Tintin, Snowy (tintin's dog).. haha.. He's fun. We play with toys and he seems to like learning and talking about,under, over, broken, fix, wait, go, inside outside, fell and fall. He says all those in little phrases.
Apart from that I have to find my battery charger to take more pictures haha. We went to this acadian village, where you find some farm animals. It was that last day before they close because it gets so cold (and yes it was cold today). But we had a nice time with friends and saw black sheep, goats, a donkey and a pony, and a few others. Khaled is so calm around animals, he was giving the animals some hay. Sometimes he need a little encouragement I don't think he would actually run up to a strange animal... not unless it's Maymay. Oh Joaquim always sleeps in his room.... even at the foot of his bed tonight (perfect size haha).
Eman, we have to set up a date to see Jana. I know it's difficult... I wish we were close. I want to hold her and talk to her. Sigh. Oh and so soon we will have a new little girl to add to the family. My brother Marc and his wife Sunita are expecting a girl on the 5th of October. I can't believe time!! It just goes so fast.















Khaled and I decorated a box for Lou... see our stickers. Believe me they go all around the box everywhere. Best part is she likes it!! (actually the best part was decorating ... but don't tell the cat).

We got a fridge and stove... the others were very old. Khaled was saying.."big fridge, new fridge" and was in on the action when everything was moving around.
I've been enjoying them lots!! What a difference in the kitchen. Oh Khaled sometimes decides when we are done eating (snacking in the living room) he says "all done..kitchen" and brings our cups or plates in the kitchen. You think he will still do that as a teenager? Do you think he'll care if I remind him what he would do as a little toddler? haha!!! Enough stories from me. Bye for now.

Sprinkles

 Danielle and T (my cousin and her husband) spent a night at our place. Next morning we went to the beach. Can't get enough of those two with their hats. Khaled is very serious about holding a bag.

It was really windy but later we saw the sun. There's Danielle with Khaled!

 He wanted to put all his toys on top of the sprinkler.. i thought kids just ran through the water.... but he had other plans.

She brought us the giraffe blanket. One morning I woke up to see him holding it standing next to my bed.. it was cute

Khaled was watching Thomas the train and naming all the trains names when the song was playing tonight. I've been teaching him to say please and one in a while he says please. He was upset today outside.. basically because he couldn't get his way and he was crying then while crying he asked for a kleenex... what a little Mr.?! I mean Khaled take time to be a messy kid.. he's so proper this guy.
