Relaxing!

Sometimes you make yourself comfy and just chill while watching T.V. 

I have a bunch of pictures.. and it's really not much interesting..

except there is a cute little face. We went to an indoor play time thing for kids today.. again I didn't have my camera. We had a nice time and there was a blow up thing that the kids jump in. 

Happy Ramadan!!! Hope the month brings peace and happiness and some calmness and clarity in your thoughts. Mostly try to be good to others, generous and kind. 

Just to Add to the Name Game

So we meet Abby at the park, I took a chance on meeting her to tell her "it's actually Khaled, but you can even say Ed or Eddie" I figured that would be catchy and felt clever. She tells me in good enthusiastic spirits "I call him Gabin!"
So I made sure what she called him.. Gabin not Gavin... I said ok Gabin. Got it!
So that's that... i will upload more pics soon. Although when we go places I usually don't have my camera! But there are a few good ones. When went to this really nice Kids day at the waterfront last Saturday. It was actually a lot of action going on and quite busy, we saw all Khaled's friends there... wish i had my camera!

Name Game

There's this little girl we see at the park close by some evenings. her name is Abby, she's super cute and very playful, inviting and outgoing, quite a contrast to her dad that is very quiet. So, she sees Khaled and says Gavin!!! Gavin. She just loves calling his name and it's really sweet. But we went through this last time I saw her... I tried so much to tell her his name is Khaled! With a "K" anything. And it's really always Gavin. I don't even try to change it now, but i can't help laughing  because it's so cute... and not his name. But when I see Abby I know I have a son called Gavin. They chase each other and he says "go get Abby". That's my story... but I want to say all the nick names we call him:

Loodie
Khalood
Khalooda
(I always say coo coo, co co.. to him in french... so I guess co co is one)
Ed
Eddie  
Looli

I think that's it ... none of them Gavin... that's Abby's

He's sleeping well in his bed. Falling asleep there (after 2 stories or so) and mostly sleeps there till morning. But it's not as calm as it seems... it's just one thing after the other .. and really it all takes time. But we get there, and then believe me Hatem and I are both so incredibly tired. So tired that sometimes I can't sleep. As for the potty .. well he sits on it if I look at books with him, and we can do that for a while... but wow he's happy in his diaper this guy no matter how messy haha. In other words... we have our way to go on the potty training. I need to work more at it with him.

Pistachio, Dinosaur!

Khaled is talking more and more. He's putting 3 words together at times and pronounces words very well.He kinna chooses english the most. He's coloring right now and he just got into it being fun. He gets so serious about it... like it was a real job! (just a little joke for Hatem) Can I say with pride that my son is really good at coloring, haha you can't escape the proud Mama.
I taught him the word pistachios. (pistache) in french, he caught the french really well .. then he forgot the english and he chose the closest word he could......Dinosaur! Khaled it's pistachios. He's got it now but it's worth writting because it was just so cute. He loves dinosaurs.. I mean pistachios.
We had a little play date with his friend Kaz today, I'll put a picture soon.
We went to see someone that will take care of my dogs since we are going to see Marc and Sunita for the baby shower in august. It's not that soon but I really always like to be sure of this and that and ready. This was a new place and they will be kept in the girls home, just seems a grate place for our little buggers.
Mama! Samia... what happened we were supposed to see you on Skype... then we were so upset it didn't work... Oh the struggle. But soon we'll get to :)

Favorite Shoes, Favorite Hat!

 He looks older in this hat .. haha ... it's all about the hats... oh and the plaid one seen below is his favorite. He wants to wear that one everyday :)

 Loves to draw... but mostly would watch for like 30 minutes (which is forever if you are 2)

 Bubbles!!

 That's Emily, we see her at the library and they really get along well. She does puzzles with him and sits and reads and they follow each other.

 The little boy next to Khaled came over for a play date yestuday. We played inside and out and walked to the park .. in other words we were everywhere. His name is Kaz.

 Khaled's flower arrangement for my grandparents grave sight. I found he had done that after we got home from the store... guess what we bought .. diapers and flowers.

 Mine... well I like his humor but the box would get wet.. I guess that's what the diapers are there for... sucking the moisture! I filled the vase with sand and it was so heavy...

 there's an idea! ...

This was on Father's day, yum yum! Hatem don't act like you didn't get your share. I'll put nice pictures of our Father's day next time... at the beach. 

Meet Piggy

 Khaled feeding green carrots stems to the piggy... I thought we haven't yet put a picture of her here... One thing about all these silly crazy pets is Khaled loves them and they love him. I tried to upload the little video again.. won't .. probably too long? and the quality to high. anyway .. it's ok .. i'll get some shorter ones. For now here is Piggy.
